ERNESTINE MEINERS

I have been weaving baskets for over 20 years, but basketry has been an integral part of life and culture for more than 10,000 years. Nothing I am creating is inventive or new. I am building on the skills and techniques I have learned through studying with some of this country’s master artisans. That is why I have branded my art - Pastiche Basketry.
